P11 (Fornssler & Jones): Education

WHEREAS the technologies exist to make both new and older buildings more efficient,
AND WHEREAS access of existing grants as well as the reduction in utility bills can make the installation of these retrofits affordable,
AND WHEREAS the knowledge of the technology and grant programs are not always well-known,

BE IT RESOLVED that the GPS advocate for and be involved in the education of the public through accessible information packages and services for retrofitting and construction of buildings as well as the available government grants.

Agree with the idea. How will GPS set up and circulate the information packages and services? Do we have the funds?
