This resolution is obviously somewhat garbled. I suspect that an amendment is needed to remove the first WHEREAS clause, the first AND WHEREAS clause, and the first BE IT RESOLVED clause.
Aside from that, I'm concerned that if a government led by any of the major parties implemented a "Citizens' Science Council" and charged it with objectivity, they would manage to set it up in a way that ensured there would be no objectivity. At some point, it's probably up to us, the GPS, to define some criteria.

At the present time the environmental review process is under attack.Public hearings are being diminished or eliminated in areas they took place previously.The Saskatchewan party is doing a major change to environmental protection by handing power of how to handle procedures to meet environmental regulations.All govt will do now is check tail end of releases or emmissions. We need more govt(citizens) involvement , not less.
