WHEREAS Saskatchewan is falling behind other provinces in our development, creation and installation of innovative Green ideas and technologies;
AND WHEREAS the GPS wishes to see Saskatchewan become a leader in this field;
P02A: BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Green Party of Saskatchewan support the implementation of provincial Incentives for “green research” to be done on such topics as renewable energy, smart growth and environmental restoration.
P02B: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Green Party of Saskatchewan advocate that legislation be enacted requiring all vendors of goods to accept back the packaging and used goods for re-use, recycling or appropriate disposal, and that such henceforth be the policy of the Green Party of Saskatchewan.
